PROJECT BRIEF
The main objective of this project is to understand selective pressures involved in the determination of body size at birth.
I am particularly interested in understanding the importance of fatness at birth to the evolution of encephalization, and to the survivorship during weaning.

FIELD TRIPS

• January to March 1998- Data collection in Sao Gabriel da Cachoeira (Rio Negro, Brazilian Amazon)
• January to October 1999- Data collection in Tefe (Rio Solimoes, Brazilian Amazon)
