Hominin and Primate Fossil Cast Collection

The Duckworth collections include a significant number of casts of fossil specimens available for teaching and research. The majority of the collection, however, is made of relatively old plaster casts, of more teaching value than research accuracy would require. However, the collection also contains some priceless old casts, like a set of original, first generation, casts of the Zhoukoudian Homo erectus remains made in Beijing by Franz Weidenreich in 1936. This collection is an actively growing one.
